A 3-year-old child is out of the hospital after being run over by a car.

It happened last night at an apartment complex on Mary Lee Way in Sevierville.

One of the wheels apparently rolled over the child, who was flown by Lifestar to UT.

That child was treated and released.

ACs are a common target because they contain copper, and while thieves usually receive less than $100 per unit for the metal, it can cost thousands to replace.

Members of Knob Creek believe it will cost around $14,000 to replace their units, though they do have insurance.
