One dead, three injured in Sevier County crash | News
A Sevierville woman was killed and three others were injured after a two-car crash in Sevier County Friday night.
It happened around 8:30 p.m. on U.S. Highway 411 near Hattie Branch Road, according to a report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
A 2011 Kia Soul, driven by Roxanna Martin, 52, of Sevierville, was traveling southbound on 411.
A Chevy Silverado pickup truck also traveling on 411 was attempting to turn onto Hattie Branch Road when the vehicles collided, head-on.
The passenger in the Kia Soul, 84-year-old Ruth Kelley, of Sevierville, was killed in the crash. Martin was injured.
The driver and passenger in the pickup truck, Edna Nave, 70, of Sevierville, and Wanda Martin, 69, of Sevierville, respectively, also were injured.
All four were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
Citations and criminal charges are pending, according to the report.
