According to Sevier County Sheiff Ron Seals, Ryan K. Herrmann, 21, of Rock City, was charged wtih statutory rape on Monday.

The victim's father called authorities after he found Hermann sleeping in a car near his home. Hermann claimed to have car trouble, but after deputies arrived, they learned that Hermann had been communicating with the girl for two weeks on an app called KIK.

He told the girl he was 17, and drove down to meet her. He convinced her to leave her house at 3 am and have sex with him in his parked car near her house. She then returned home. A neighbor later spotted the car and notified the father.
